It Is time... To Take Our place...
In Christ!
This study is based on some of the compiled scriptures and notes from Jim Kaseman’s "The Faith Aid" as our foundation.
What I Am... In Christ!
I am a new creation in Christ Jesus. My Spirit is created in the image and likeness of God.
2
Corinthians 5:17 “17 What this means is that those who become
Christians become new persons. They are not the same anymore, for the
old life is gone. A new life has begun!”
I am complete in Christ Jesus.
Colossians 2:9-10 9 For in Christ the fullness of God lives in a human body, 10 and you are complete through your union with Christ. He is the Lord over every ruler and authority in the universe.
I am righteous in Christ Jesus. I have right - standing with God just like I had never did anything wrong.
2
Corinthians 5:21 “21 For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the
offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through
Christ.”
1 John 1:9 “9 But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us and to cleanse us from every wrong.”
I am redeemed from the curse of the law (poverty, sickness and spiritual death).
Galatians
3:13 “13 But Christ has rescued us from the curse pronounced by the
law. When he was hung on the cross, he took upon himself the curse for
our wrongdoing. For it is written in the Scriptures, “Cursed is
everyone who is hung on a tree.”
For further study on the curses and the blessings see Deuteronomy 28:1-68.
I am God’s child and a joint-heir with Christ.
Romans
8:16-17 “16 For his Holy Spirit speaks to us deep in our hearts and
tells us that we are God’s children. 17 And since we are his children,
we will share his treasures—for everything God gives to his Son,
Christ, is ours, too. But if we are to share his glory, we must also
share his suffering.”
Where I am... In Christ.
I have been taken from Satan’s kingdom and I am now in God’s Kingdom.
Colossians 1:13-14 13 For he has rescued us from the one who rules in the kingdom of darkness, and he has brought us into the Kingdom of his dear Son. 14 God has purchased our freedom with his blood and has forgiven all our sins.
I am part of the body of Christ and Satin has no power over me.
1
Corinthians 12:14-27 “14 Yes, the body has many different parts, not
just one part. 15 If the foot says, “I am not a part of the body
because I am not a hand,” that does not make it any less a part of the
body. 16 And if the ear says, “I am not part of the body because I am
only an ear and not an eye,” would that make it any less a part of the
body? 17 Suppose the whole body were an eye—then how would you hear? Or
if your whole body were just one big ear, how could you smell anything? 18
But God made our bodies with many parts, and he has put each part just
where he wants it. 19 What a strange thing a body would be if it had
only one part! 20 Yes, there are many parts, but only one body. 21 The
eye can never say to the hand, “I don’t need you.” The head can’t say
to the feet, “I don’t need you.” 22
In fact, some of the parts that seem weakest and least important are
really the most necessary. 23 And the parts we regard as less honorable
are those we clothe with the greatest care. So we carefully protect
from the eyes of others those parts that should not be seen, 24 while
other parts do not require this special care. So God has put the body
together in such a way that extra honour and care are given to those
parts that have less dignity. 25 This makes for harmony among the
members, so that all the members care for each other equally. 26 If one
part suffers, all the parts suffer with it, and if one part is
honoured, all the parts are glad. 27 Now all of you together are Christ’s body, and each one of you is a separate and necessary part of it.”
Luke
9:1 “1 One day Jesus called together his twelve apostles and gave them
power and authority to cast out demons and to heal all diseases.”
Luke 10:9 “9 and heal the sick. As you heal them, say, ‘The Kingdom of God is near you now.’”
I am seated in the heavenly places with Christ Jesus far above all power of darkness and all things are under my feet.
Ephesians
1:20-23 “20 that raised Christ from the dead and seated him in the
place of honour at God’s right hand in the heavenly realms. 21 Now he
is far above any ruler or authority or power or leader or anything else
in this world or in the world to come. 22 And God has put all things
under the authority of Christ, and he gave him this authority for the
benefit of the church. 23 And the church is his body; it is filled by
Christ, who fills everything everywhere with his presence.”
Ephesians 4:6 “6 and there is only one God and Father, who is over us all and in us all and living through us all.”
What I have... In Christ.
All spiritual blessings in heavenly places are mine in Christ Jesus.
Ephesians
1:3 “3 How we praise God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has
blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because
we belong to Christ.”
All my needs are supplied by my Heavenly Father, in every area of life, according to His riches in Glory by Christ Jesus.
Philippians
4:19 “19 And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your
needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ
Jesus.”
I don’t have to worry about anything, for God has commanded me to cast all of my cares on Him.
1 Peter 5:7 “7 Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about what happens to you.”
What I can Do... In Christ!
In the power of the Holy Ghost I am a witness for Jesus.
Acts 1:8 “8 But
when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, you will receive power and will
tell people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in
Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
I can and do tell others about Jesus Christ.
Matthew 28:18-20 “18 Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given complete authority in heaven and on earth. 19 Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. 20 Teach
these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be
sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
As a believer and in the name of Jesus Christ I cast out devils. I speak with new tongues and when I lay my hands on the sick they do recover.
Mark 16:15-18 “15 And then he told them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone, everywhere. 16 Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved. But anyone who refuses to believe will be condemned. 17 These signs will accompany those who believe: They will cast out demons in my name, and they will speak new languages. 18 They
will be able to handle snakes with safety, and if they drink anything
poisonous, it won’t hurt them. They will be able to place their hands
on the sick and heal them.”
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
Philippians 4:13 “13 For I can do everything with the help of Christ who gives me the strength I need.”
Jesus will never leave us... if, we continue to love Him (and His Word)!
Matthew 22:37-40 “37 Jesus replied, “ ‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbour as yourself.’ 40 All the other commandments and all the demands of the prophets are based on these two commandments.”
If... we choose not to believe His Word.
Matthew 10:32-33 “32 “If anyone acknowledges me publicly here on earth, I will openly acknowledge that person before my Father in heaven. 33 But if anyone denies me here on earth, I will deny that person before my Father in heaven.”
Mark 8:38 “38 If
a person is ashamed of me and my message in these adulterous and sinful
days, I, the Son of Man, will be ashamed of that person when I return
in the glory of my Father with the holy angels.”
2 Timothy 2:12 “12 If we endure hardship, we will reign with him. If we deny him, he will deny us.”
Do you believe?... It is a choice!
Once
we hear the truth - we all make a choice to believe or not to believe
what we just heard. Can you imagine where the Church would be today if every person who said they loved Jesus would believe Him!
John 14:12-14 “12 “The
truth is, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done,
and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father. 13 You can ask for anything in my name, and I will do it, because the work of the Son brings glory to the Father. 14 Yes, ask anything in my name, and I will do it!”
When we make that simple choice to believe - hold on!
Get ready - God loves to bring Glory to Himself through anyone - who chooses to believe His Word!
